Part 1 – Exploring Digital Images.

Find three images that are different types of digital images (scanned image, cinemagraph, photograph, digital illustration, clip art etc.) For each image explain what the file type is (gif, jpg, bmp, tiff etc.)
 







What are the uses of the three images that you identified? (E.g. is the image used for a website, for an advertisement? Etc.)

1.    Used for pop art, pixel website. Sometimes advertisement




2.    Clean up background for clean document





3.    How to create digital art that comes to life





Part 2 – Photography Technology and Materials.

Identify four different pieces of digital equipment that can be used for creating digital images. How is the equipment used?

1. Tripod
2. Digital camera
3. Lighting
4. White screens

Name at least two pieces of other equipment that support the creation of digital images. How is the equipment used?

1. Camera to take the photos with
2. Tripod to keep the camera still and get high images and to have a clean shot

Name four types of digital materials and software.

1. Copyright and licensing
2. Recommendation systems  
3. Digital archives
4. Metadata
