The participatory mode (Engagement with subject) because he is in front of the camera and gets involved with whats being recorded

you use this mode of documentary in your own production? You must comment on
the different types of shots, audio and editing techniques.
To be in front of the camera and engage on what is going on. To edit the film cut out shots that are not needed. A reaction shot with people's reaction with music playing when shooting places or travelling. Simple cuts are needed when 2 or more people are talking with each other and a fade at the end of the documentary. So music recordings are needed for when off screen and on screen comes on with a voice over too.
