Evaluation of Documentary

I managed my time pretty well but could of improved  and made sure the Documentary was completed on time. I made time for planning at the beginning with researching before hand and gathered my information into blogger to help me create a mind map and mood board. I left plenty of time to capture footage and get as many shots as I could in the areas of the job role. At the end of production I had plenty of time to edit the videos and put all the footage into Sony Vegas. I also put text and music with it, making sure that it's within the benchmark of over 2 minutes and not over 5. I think my documentary is fit for purpose because I made sure to make it educational and informative by having an interview answering questions people may have for the job role. Also to make it entertaining by adding different footage and music to it. I was near the benchmark and it is associated with the job role that me and my group was focusing on. I achieved in working in a group and communicating with others. I arrived to do all my assignment needs in this last project. I also learnt and achieved how to use Sony Vegas and Photoshop a bit more and to use cameras to record. I also achieved to do something on time for the deadline. I achieved all of this because I practised on software and got used to the cameras and tripods. I made sure I was on time to lessons and thought about how much I would achieve in Level 2 if I pass level 1. My documentary could be improved by using a tripod and other equipment more and not to always record by hand where the camera shakes and to make it still and straight, to learn more skills on Sony Vegas to add more effects to my video, it would improve it by making it more entertaining and to develop my skills. Also to use my mind map more for help so I don't forget my information and research when it's planning time. My planning and practical work could be improved for next time because I need to use my mind map and mood boards more and to also practice taking footage. I think I am best at researching best even though editing is fun, I still need to improve on it.
